Dear Members,

As part of our ongoing commitment to providing the best possible playing conditions, we will be carrying out our scheduled course maintenance next week (13-15 july).

These cultural practices are essential to the long-term health and performance of the course and help us maintain high-quality playing surfaces throughout the year. The work will include:

• Aeration – Relieves soil compaction, improves air and water movement through the soil, and encourages stronger, healthier root growth.
• Top Dressing – Helps create smoother, firmer playing surfaces, improves drainage, and reduces organic matter build-up.
• Fertiliser Applications – Replenishes essential nutrients to promote healthy turf growth, improve resilience, and aid recovery following maintenance.

While these operations may cause some temporary disruption to playing conditions, they are a vital investment in the long-term quality of the course. The benefits become increasingly apparent over the following weeks as the turf recovers and strengthens.
